Can you fit something to a printer to be able to send a document from your laptop (without a lead) to a printer to print.

A wireless print server may work, but if your printer is multifuctional, usually only the print function works. More info here.

Far easier to just plug your laptop in to the printer to print and save up for a dedicated wireless printer.
connect the printer to the router . installed the printer driver in the laptop.
connect the printer as wireless. try to print.

I really hate to say this ... but johnpol could just possibly be right (have you noticed his english improves when yogie isn't included in the answer?)

the bt home hub (black or white) will take a printer

in principle possibly works on any router with a USB connector (just a guess)
