Internal battery for Desk top Pc

Everytime i switch on my pc, it tells me that internal battery voltage is low. CAn this battery be charged or will it have to be replaced. The PC is dell and about 3 years old.

A quick Google search shows replacement internal batteries for Dell PCs are widely available, so yes.

Your user manual should tell you where/how to fit... or look on a few forums...

Take it out, make a note of the number on it and buy another one (they are fairly standard so can get them loads of places) put new one in and should all be OK again.

not a very good lifespan
do you use it often ... or is it off for long periods?

while they are not strictly rechargeable ... your average lithium battery will take charge from the mobo without damage

I have some machines made in 2000 that were used regularly ... and still had their original bateries

its left for long periods of time. Hence the battery life is depleated.

Is your computer show you, system time and date incorrect ?
It is the another indication of change the internal battery of computer.

the system is showing the cmos battery messages. it means that the CMOS battery of the computer is weak.

this battery is in the motherboard of the computer.

it is responsible for the correct date and time of the computer.

if this battery is weak than the computer date and time is incorrect.

so change the CMOS battery.
