Can it burn these?

My Fujitsu siemens amilo li 1705 notebook recognizes a 4.7gb dvd+rw but my burning applications wont let me burn movies to it,does this mean my notebook cant burn dvd+rw disks? the burning applications will however let me burn dvd+r disks that are the same brand (asda). can anyone tell me if the problem lies with the disks? notebook? burning apps? cheers, p.s the same dvd+rw disks burnt on my sisters Toshiba l40-156 notebook but as you can probably tell im a novice so any advice would be appreciated cheers!!

Have you tried to burn another DVD+RW Disk? Try to burn another Disk. If problem still same, then you should replace it.

No smith i havent tried another dvd+rw disk as of yet but shall do when i get the time,if it still dont work i shall look into it further cheers.
