Turn off a default setting?

Everytime I put a DVD into my PC the program SonicCineplayer always starts to play it. How can I just have it come up with the box asking what function I want to perform when I put in a DVD? I don't want to uninstall the program. It doesn't happen with USB or CD only DVDs.

You need to un-check the box "auto play".
Go the DVD Rom properties > Now Un-check the option auto play here.

when you installed the DVD player you select the auto play option.

right click on the DVD icon, go to the properties and un check the auto play tab. click OK and apply.
