Super Antispyware
What is current thinking about the above program. I have just done a full scan which returned the following.
Memory Items scanned = 412
Registry Items scanned = 4811
Total Files Scanned = 44500 approx
Time taken 2:05:00
This time was with no other applications running or loaded. Is this a reasonable time to take? My other stuff, Spybot and Norton Internet Security are much faster

As it is a genuine program surely it's more important that it works and actually removes the bad things, which it's fairly well regarded at doing.... why bother how long it takes to scan, just run the scan overnight.

SAS is a cracking program for a freebie! (note that you should always download the updates before doing anything else, unless you get the paid version which is automatic and runs in realtime).
It all boils down to how many files you have on your disk. To speed it up a little, run CCleaner first and run SAS using quick scan. Video files are a no no as they take a while to scan.
I have an external drive where all my music/video files are stored so the C drive only takes me 30 mins.
However, do a full scan say, once a week.
