Sound like the soundcard is playing the CD at a different sample rate than 44.1kHz.

if that is the answer how do i solve the problem

If this is the case (it could be the CD player), then your soundcard should have come with driver software. There might be a setting in there to lower the playback sample rate. Also, check out the CD playing software to see if there's anything in there that may fix the problem.
