Praying someone can help
Hi,
I think i have just deleted a whole year's worth of pictures from my Recycle bin. Wanted to put them on a memory stick, but is there ANY way I can get them back easily? Daren't tell my husband yet, as they are his photos.
Thousand thanks if you can help me.

Others will no doubt point you to free software they have used.
As beso says, you should minimise your computer use until you have got the photos back otherwise you run the risk of them being over-written (and gone forever).

but what were they doing in the recycle bin - in the first place????
if you deleted them and then emptied -- what drugs were you on at the time?

I agree with ACtheTROLL, if you did not want them deleted why were they in the recycle bin.
Digital pictures should ALWAYS be kept in a secure place, preferable 2 or more places, so they cant easily be deleted.
That way if they are deleted from one place you still have them in the second place.
I always make sure I have my digital photos backed up to a CD or DVD just in case the PC crashes or is stolen.
In fact I NEVER delete them from the camera till they are backed up to CD or DVD.
If you cant copy them to CD or DVD then as a minimum you should copy them to an external hard dirve so you have them on your PC AND on a external hard drive.
