Excel spreadsheet HELP!

Hi i have a long list of tel numbers on excel spreadsheets. They are alphabetic and each workbook was numbered A through to SZ. However the "tabs" at the bottom of each workbook has disappeared thus I can only get ont front page (the A list) where have they gone I know I can get them back but...HOW?

have you put it into full screen ?

Click on the view menu and make sure full screen isn't selected.

if not that then what version of Excel would help

If you go into Tools > Options, then the View tab. There is a tick box at the bottom that says "sheet tabs". Make sure it is ticked to view them.

Regardless of whether sheet tabs are displayed, you can still switch between sheets by using CTRL+PAGE UP or PAGE DOWN as required.

thanks all. soz 4 delayed rfeply - i was at work (which incidentally is where i am having probs with the excel sheets). I will put your suggestions into practice tomorrow thanks muchly :-) yes rinkins i am presuming they are only hidden ....but need to find out how to "unhide" them...but hopefully i will do so tomorrow once i put chuck and aquariels tips into practice.
