Anti Virus

I am using Avira AntiVir Personal - free antivirus but I seem to get quite a lot of SPAM coming through in my e mails, is there anything I can do about this ???

Well if you are getting spam what do you expect your anti virus to do about it?

Spam is just emails you dont particularlt want.

Spam emails are not viruses, so unless there is a virus file linked to the email your anti virus wont care about it.

There is not a lot you can do about spam, once you are on a spammers distribution list you will continue to get it.

DONT reply to spam, and never unsubscribe from spam (it only proves your email is live).

Maybe consider having 2 or 3 emails addresses, one ONLY for friends and family, the other for subscribing to forums etc, maybe the other for online banking etc.
