Checking Broadband usage

A friend of mine has recently signed to an AOL broadband subscription with a 10gb monthly limit (yes...I know...I wouldn't have advised her to do it either ;o))
I've had a look on her AOL homesite & they don't appear to have a usage history..though I could be wrong.
My friend is very new to the internet so really wants to check on a regular basis how much of her monthly limit she has used.Can anyone suggest a good software or even know if it possible to get the info from AOL?

Easy to install & can be set so it show's how much you have used each time you start up
