Keyboard
I've had 3 Keyboards in the last year. The letters Fade. Is this usual or ,perhaps my fingers are unusually acid ?

I can't comment on acidity of fingers. Possibly you are buying cheap? items or you hit the keys hard. You need to go for one with the letters engraved into the keys rather than painted or stencilled on. My present keyboard is made by Cherry. It is now about 14 years old, on its 3rd computer and everything is as good as new(literally).
