Costco

Anyone been?
I have spent all day in Edinburgh with my son and we all went to Costco as he has a company card.
Well- somethings are actually more expensive that Asda Tesco etc BUT what a fantastic shopping experience it was.
The fresh food is to die for especially if you are planning a party.
There were really unusual foodie type things -American type stuff as its an American company.
Plus -I got the best spice rack I have ever seen its on a steel rotating wheel with 20 different spices -and my son bought it for me for my birthday which is soon -£26 a bargain.
You ought to have a trip if you can- well worth !!

You need to get one of the giant carrot cakes or the chocolate fudge cakes, they are brilliant - oh I could go on forever......
p.s. did you notice if the had any lego in?

Love it, love it, love it!!
I especially love their celebration cakes - £12 for a huge cake decorated anyway you like!
We go every other month for supplies, I always get that chicken pack and freeze it into smaller portions (in bags bought from there) their flank steak is fab too.
If anyone has a baby, their nappies are a brilliant buy too. Huggies are really well priced but the Kirkland nappies are even better.

Yes lyn - the cafe doesn\'t do a big selection (pizza, baked potatoes, chicken things, pies, hot dogs, sweet pastries & muffins and soft drinks and smoothies and teas & coffees) but it is pretty cheap, very nice and big portions. Toilets are very clean. I think that you can use the cafe/toilets without being a member, and I think that you can go in and look round, but you can\'t buy anything unless you buy a membership (about £26 for 2 cards for you and spouse - I think) and you need to meet eligibility criteria based on your employment or qualifications, but they are quite wide ranging i.e anyone in financial services or the health service can join etc etc.
Sorry for not getting back to you.
