02 internet problem with my Nokia 6600?
5 Answers
I own a Nokia 6600 on the O2 Network. However i'm having trouble trying to connect to the Internet.I phoned up O2 & they sent me an O2 WAP GPRS Access Point which i saved to my phone. But anytime i connect through my access point there is a G symbol that spins round the small globe on the display screen & it spins & spins.I had the phone connected for 30 mins last night & nothing happened.Does anyone out there have this phone & maybe knows what the problem could be or has anyone had a similar problem.I thought i'd try here first before i phone customer services at O2.

It could only hold up to 10 txt msgs. When i bought my Nokia 6600 it had been on the Vodaphone network but i can use my sim no problem. It's just trying to access the net on it.
u might need to call o2 and ask them to enable ur sim card to work i had no prob on o2 getting mine enabled my daughters had the same problem but they are with vodaphone tmobile say because its a old sim card it cant b used n must b replaced also if u go to the o2 web site try enabeling ur phone manually wich u will need to do for ur gprs and mms hope this helps
Ring them from a landline on this number: 08457525252. Tell them you need to update your WAP and GPRS setting for an old sim card. This might solve the problem. Its best this way as they have to go through a step-by-step guide for you over the phone. They will try and e-mail you these details but just say that your internet is down. I know, as I used to work for them.
