I like one guy (I'm a guy too). How to tell about my feelings slightly?

There is one guy, he is on 4th year and i'm on 5th(last). He is working part-time in our computer class, playing football, maintains his site about football, and as I know he is participating in some youth programs.
And of course he has a lot of friends. I don't know how he feels about me. I guess he is indifferent.
At his birthday(we meet mainly in computer class) I gave him present he wanted(funny mosepad). He was so lifted up, very happy. He said he wanted pad just like that.
But the other day he became his usual self - I mean he just says Hello (from time to time) to me and no attemts to ask something or start a conversation. Ah, no. He asked me once(!). About how my vacation in Turkey passed (I won a trip).
And today I was waiting for my pal, and came to computer class, and he was playing football on PC. I asked how it goes etc. but mainly I just sat silent, 'cause he was in phones and looked concntrated. And I thought maybe I should say about my feelings?
I like him and I want to be friends with him.
And If it matter, he looks straight. At least I saw girl rubbing his belly(in shirt), and he expressed no annoying but no pleasure though.
I'm bi. But I want to be friends first.

there is no easy answer to this question , making friends with people isnt really that difficult if your outgoing and have things in comon however harder if your on the shy side.
As for " emotional attraction " i gather he is a year younger than yourself however is working in your computer class " this leaves the question to the possibility of a well documented and comon attraction to a tutor " im not trying to belittle you or your emotions in this just pointing this out so you can check your own feelings.

all said and done you want to be friends first , this is sensible and by being a friend you would actualy find out if he is the same way inclined as you are , or if he is streight. This would save a possible very aquard situation.

best advice i could give is be yourself , if he wants to be your friend he will be.
