Updating Grpahic Card

I am about to start updating my system.

Several people on here have advised that I should remove the drivers for the current card.
I have looked in Control Panel | Add/Remove and don't see anything that looks like a video driver.

I then used Win Explorer to check.

If I R-click on My Computer then select Properties I get the System Properties form.

Selecting the Hardware tab then Device manager | Display Adapter I see the data on the driver.
R-click on this I get options to Disable, Remove etc.

I assume this is where I need to do the removal.
My question is, do I need to actually remove it or could I just disable it?

I can't see why you'd have any problems leaving the old driver in place. Selecting the remove option will be the best option. Just make sure you install the drivers that come on the CD with the new graphics card.

Windows is notorious about mixing up Graphics drivers.
Graphics drivers usually shown in Add Remove, but not always.
It's best to "remove" drivers completely after downloading or having new ones ready on pc to install. Do this where you found them, reboot and load new drivers. Windows will use VGA common drivers to produce a display in the meantime.
