New Apple imac and BT Yahoo

I am about to purchase an Apple imac for the first time but have been told that I may have trouble setting up my email account with BT Yahoo.

I have a BT Home Hub N Power router and the Apple imac will be connected wirelessly. The router is already set up on my present windows laptop so does not have to be programmed.

How do I set up my email on an Apple, I am not that brilliant with computers, so am worried it is going to be too complicated and I will get lost with the set. I have two email accounts with BT, i.e. [email protected]

Should be no issues using BT mail with a mac.
