Forcing addon compatability with Firefox 3.6
Now that Firefox 3.6 has been released, if you find that some of your add-ons have been disabled because they are considered not compatible with it, then you can turn off the checking using the info here:

viz. simply create a boolean entry extensions.checkCompatibility.3.6 in fhe configuration and set it to false.
It seems to work (so far).

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.p.s. you wil usually find that add-ons will continue to work even though Firefox considers them as longer compatible - I been using 3.5 with compatability switched off for months and several add-ons which haven't been updated for ages have continued working without a problem although Firefox reckoned that were no longer compatible. That's no guarantee for every add-on though!
