tried to play a tune from websight ukmagic.co.uk windows media player launched then the following message popped up
Synth Error
could not initiate audio output never seenths before

The files on that site are not audio files, but midi files. A midi file is a set of instructions to tell a synthesiser or similar device how to play a tune.
What operating system are you running, and what sound card do you have?
