I have had several e-mails from members drawing my attention to a posting you apparently made here yesterday. I am told it was a personal attack on my character and the contribution I make to this site.
I understand that the piece was spiteful, sarcastic and uncalled for.
The posting seems to have been removed and I only have the gist of your comments sent to me by others.
Perhaps you could tell me what your problem is and how I have triggered such an extreme reaction as I had thought that I was on good terms with most members, and in the 6 years I've been on Answerbank have never, knowingly upset anyone.

I reckon that it was a posting that I directed at kakuro1 and his constant carping at posters, and I've just realised that I referred to that person by the initial K in the posting and so I apologise unreservedly to you for not making the intended target more obvious.

I saw the post in question and thought it remarkable.
It is still available and reads
'Oh Master K forgive these sinners for their perfidy
I have realised that your infallible logic and magnificent wisdom are so wondrous that mere mortals can only regard them with awe.
I have carved an image in your likeness that I shall carry with me every moment of my days. Six times a day whereever I might be, I shall kneel and give thanks for your presence and beg for a modicum of your wise insight so that my worthless life may be uplifted.
Henceforth the 27th February every year shall be spent in celebration of your magnificence, not with joyous roistering but with self-flagellation and the repeated utterances of the mantra 'O Mighty K, O Wondrous K, Special K purge me of my impurities.
But My Lord how shall you deal with the heathens, the ingrates who still perceive you as a
condescending T*W*A*T?
Smite them that they shall know your beneficence.'
