maybe your internet security level is set too high. set to medium.
Do you have broadband internet access via a router?
I saw something in my Internet Explorer about displaying secure and non secure items. Check on the security tab.
Go to your Internet Explorer Help, then About. If it does not say Cipher STrength is 128 bit then you will need to upgrade your internet explorer version. If you are using a different browser I am afraid I can't help

Thanks for the advice, but Ive tried all of the above and they seem fine.

Mattie, no we dont have access through a router, ta.

In Internet Explorer, try looking at "Tools" -> "Internet Options" -> "Advanced" and right down at the bottom there should be a couple of options that say "Use SSL 2.0" and "Use SSL 3.0".

Either check these (or just click "restore defaults") and then close all browser windows which are open and re-launch your browser & try again.
Failing that, I'd try using a different browser such as Firefox 1.0 as this is safer anyway.
