Now i have done my first full backup + 1 differential backup.

So if i keep one doing this, and delete previous differential backups.
What about the full backup, how long do you leave this full backup before creating a new one.

Is there any need to delete it and create a new one

A full backup will be rather large so you dont want to do one too often.

You only need to make a full backup after you have have made major changes to your computer.

As long as you do regular differental backups, to backup files you have changed, you dont ned to do a full backup that often.

I would say about once every 3 months.

You are probably best keeping all the differential backups associated with the full backup.

I prefer to delete the full backup and create a new full backup about every month.
