VOB to WMV Conversion

Hi. I have just used Nero to make a slide show which I have burned to DVD. Is there a way I can convert the VOB file into WMV format so I can insert the slide show to a PowerPoint presentation? Thanks

OK, can I just check I've got this straight.

you have used nero (a bit of software designed to burn CD/DVD's) to make a slide show and put it onto a DVD, you now want to rip that DVD so you can use it in powerpoint, which is a program designed for making slide shows.

I think you really are taking the long route here, why not just make the slide show in power point to start with.

You just captured from a DV cam to Nero? That codec is usually AVI DV.

I made a slide show using pics and music using Nero which I burned to DVD and backed upto a 'stick'. I am happy to do it again in anyway/format but at the end of the day I want to add it as a movie type download to one PowerPoint slide to be used as an intro when delegates walk in to the room. It will be easy to move onto the rest of the presentation from there. Thanks
