Hi rojash, I have downloaded your link for Malware Bytes as advised and it has come up with 893errors, and to fix these I have to purchase just like the option I had previously, also a panel ask`s me to Type: `Run Once` Where do I do this? I am in a quandary as to know where to go from here. Do I have to stop and not go any further? As you can tell from previous posts I need some lessons, as I still don`t know what I am doing.

Chucky: I have downloaded filehippo.....rebytes anti malware, which I find was the original I had at the start ....I did as you suggested and kept hitting f8 when I restarted my PC and a panel appeared with 3 choices to choose from, ie; `floppy disc`, `hard disc,` and another , so I hit `hard disc`, hoping I did the correct one, but no `Safe Mode`
Well, I did as you said chuck and got `Safe Mode`, ........but, the desktop got bigger, and I lost all the toolbars, and couldn't`t get my homepage, so I switched off , and 30sec`s later switched back on, started pressing f8 as soon as I saw a little flicker of something...then up popped a panel again with the 3 choices to choose,...clicked Hard Disc, pressed Enter, got back my desktop and toolbars, and here I am again. What next I ask you please? Hope you can follow my commentary. Take an asprin.
"but, the desktop got bigger, and I lost all the toolbars, and couldn't`t get my homepage"
Yes that is correct, safe mode starts the computer with just the bare minimum things working to enable it to start, you will not be able to access your homepage or play sounds or do most things in safe mode, it's designed for troubleshooting, not for using the computer normally.
When you installed malwarebytes it would have put an icon on the desktop, when you start in safe mode that icon will still be there, just double click on that to start malwarebytes and then select run full scan, don't bother trying to do anything else while in safe mode, you are only there to run the scan.
If you have the proper free version installed it will scan and then offer to remove any problems without asking you to pay, if it asks you to pay anything you either have a rougue version installed or you have installed the full, non free, version.
(incidentally, just as a thought, but are you sure it was asking you to pay and not just saying you may donate if you want to)
