is www.soft82.com a safe site?

I have a new computer and have left my printer software at my parents, so have been looking for a trust worthy site to down load it from as Cannon’s official site did not seem to give me the links to a down load.

I can download it from this site {www.soft82.com}but very careful these days where I down load from after some problems in the past.

What is your printer model number? I will search for a safe site for you to download the drivers from...or locate them on the Canon site for you. I have never heard of the site you mention and that triggers alarm bells immediately.

I thought that too chuck, I have had Canon printers for several years now and have NEVER had trouble finding drivers on their site!

As a general rule you can always find drivers on all the larger manufacturers websites, some are easier to find that others (try finding Toshiba laptop drivers! it's a nightmare) but they are always there.
