Gmail Notifier
3 Answers
This is a repeat of my original post.
I am running Firefox & Windows 7, I have made several attempts to download gmail notifier & every attempt has failed to work, when I open gmail normally from shortcut, no problem but after each download of notifier I get a popup saying cannot connect to gmail then when I delete notifier all goes back to normal. Does anyone know if this a general fault of Windows 7. ?
Although I had replies I am still unable to get this to work, I am hoping that someone knows the answer.

Right-click the notifier icon that appears on the bottom status bar of firefox, and choose Preferences. (You can also get there by clicking Tools/addons, and then clicking the options button on Gmail notifier).
Check the box "Enable multiple accounts", then click the Accounts button.
Check that your gmail account appears in the list - if not, add it.
If it's there, click on it, and retype your password.
Click OK.
Unless you have multiple accounts, you can now uncheck "Enable multiple accounts".
Click OK
