Hi, I am looking for some advice on copying Nintendo DS Games. I have purchased my 2 kids a DSi each from Ebay, and they each came with a game card which had 35 games copied to each card. My youngest has somehow managed to delete over half of the games from the game card. I thought it would be easy to sort out, but I am having loads of problems. I took the micro sd card from my elder sons DS as he stil had all of the games on it, and I then copied the whole card into a folder on my Laptop. When I tried to then copy these files from my laptop to my youngest sons Micro SD card, I kept getting the box pop up saying there was an error and do I want to scan and fix, which I did. This happened to every file I tried to transfer. I selected scan and fix and somehow I managed to get all of the files onto the SD Card, but when I put the card back in the DS Console, the screen had just the word 'loading' and nothing else happens. I have hecked every single folder and file on both cards and they are exactly the same. I then formatted the card and put everything back onto it , but the same thing has happened. I am obviously doing something wrong, but have no idea what.

Any help would be most appreciated, all I want is to put the games back onto the card.

The main thing you are doing wrong is breaking the copyright laws by using the cards at all. They are illegally copied onto in the first place and you are trying to copy them again....unbelievable!
Is there anyone on this site that doesn't speed even by a few miles an hour or break some law daily either deliberately or not? It was answer needed not a moral statement. 36TEAK36, I will ask around n c if any of my mates has an answer for u, if for no other reason that yr 2 children don't argue over the one working game card.

Daffy, if you cannot offer any advice regarding help with my question, then please do not bother to answer at all.

gadgetgeek, many thanks for your reply, and any help would be most appreciated.

If it is of any help, I have now tried to copy the games on my pc at work, but now I am getting an error message stating that 'cannot copy file as path is too deep'. I tried changing the name of the file to shorten it, but the same message appears.

gadgetgeek, problem is solved.

The SD Card was damaged. I just purchased a new card and everything worked fine.

Many thanks.
Glad it was sorted. Have a great Bank Holiday weekend.
I find your question until now, maybe you have fixed the problem, but I want to share my experience on copying my DS games, the key is the software:http://www.copygames.org/guides/how-
to-copy-ds-games.html.
as long as you know it, you'll know how to make it.
