My Mouse isn`t working correctly.

The Scroll bar is OK, but the wheel isn`t. It`s a Labtec Optical. Please advise, tia.

Nope, it`s packed up again. The wheel feels `soft` to turn, but it`s not moving the cursar.

Since when does the wheel move the cursor?

Either
(i) Dirt is interfering with the sensors on your scroll wheel
Or
(ii) All that frantic game-play has caused metal-fatigue in the mouse lead/tail and one of the connections has broken and is only making intermittent contact.

In either case, the fastest and most cost-effective solution is to get a new mouse.
Give the old one to your cat to play with.

gen 2, ain`t got a mouse, only a bird. Google `Rosa Bourke` to see one. But yep, I`ll buy a new mouse and shoot this one.
