Hello
I am trying to merge four photos into one file, using Microsoft Picture Manager.
I don't mean overlaying four photos- just simply having a photo in each corner, if that makes sense.
Can this be done on Microsoft Picture Manager? If not, what program will do this?
Thanks.

I've been arranging photo to print out for my scrapbook and did it in publisher but word works aswell if you prefer it. Unless you want to do fancy photoshopping to them in which case do that first, then save them then copy them into word or publisher.
Yes it can be done with Microsoft Office Picture Manager. I have Office 2007

1) Put the four pictures you want in one folder (it is easier that way, but you dont have to)

2) RIGHT click on one of the pictures and from the menu select "Open With" then Microsoft Office Picture Manager.

3) Picture Manager opens with this one picture. On the three icons just above the picture select Thumbnail View (hover the mouse above it to see which icon it is).

4) Now you see all the pictures in the folder.

5) Hold down the Ctrl and Shift key AT THE SAME TIME and select each picture in turn. They should all stay selected.

6) Now select File then Print. You should get a Windows that says "How do you want to print your pictures?" On the right it should show different layouts (one picture per page, 2 per page, 4 per page etc). Scroll down to see them all.

7) Select the "4 pictures per page" and the image should now show the 4 pictures on the one page.

8) Now print the page.

Thanks, both, but I don't want to print out the end result. I want to save the file and upload the result to Facebook as four-pictures-within-one. I hope that makes sense.

I managed to save an attempt in Word, but the Facebook uploader does not recognise these files.
