Are they still on your itunes?

the songs and films i bought are, i mostly want all the albums i put on from my own mp3's
The easiest way would be to re import your albums to itunes and then sync your new touch. As standard ipods only sync from itunes, they do not sync back. There are third party programmes that can help you get them back. If you google "ipod to itunes" you will get a selection, you will need one that matches your operating system, Windows, MacOS etc.

Right I'll have a look, thanks very much. I spent hours putting them on, just picking out my favourite songs and doing some compilations so I didn't want to have to do them all again.
Thanks for your help
