windows clean up exe

Hello ABrs
I have just been given a copy of windows clean up its an exe file and is supposed to clean out all my old internet files with a click of a button, i was wondering if anyone out there has had any problems using this program.

Sounds like a virus .. adware or spyware.
Use something proper ..
Like Acesoft Tracks Eraser.

Be VERY VERY wary of running ANY exe file you have been given. As has been said, could easily be a virus or spyware or add a keylogger to your computer.

Most browers have a "clean up" option to remove temporary files. In IE go to Tools then Internet Options then press the Delete button.

Windows also has a Clean Up option to clear out other unwanted files.

DONT run the exe file.

If you mean the Freeware program Windows CleanUp by Steven R Gould it is OK. I have V4.5.2 and have been using it for many months with no problem.

yes its the one by S Gould, and i have not run it yet but would also do a scan of it using AVG prior to use,

I don't know if this will work on AB, it works on email, a light-hearted screen-cleaner...I know you don't clean your monitor's screen very often and it is nearly impossible to do the inside, so this is my present to you
