Just bought my wife a new Acer Aspire 5532..........excellent....BUT.......it does not have a Caps Lock indicator light..........she is going mad.

Watch out for this model.

There are far more important reasons why I'd never buy an acer laptop.

make sure you keep the acer ePower management software installed otherwise the fan won't work and it'll overheat and crash. (crazy idea! Fans should be controlled by hardware, not software!)

Interesting, but one needs an indicator light ? I find typing a sentence then looking up at the screen and turning purple, more than adequate for the job. Unless it's passwords I guess; they can be a pain. I use an encrypted "autofill" password store application, so it's less of a problem.
