Snow Leopard Firewall
I have added iTunes to my Firewall but every time I start it, it comes up with the do you want iTunes to accept incoming transmissions. Not a major problem, just annoying
Does any one know why this is happening?
Thank you

You may have a corrupted file here. There are a few fixes around, but the simplest first is to delete the iTunes programme and reinstall it with the latest version from the Apple website. Come back if that doesn't clear it.

Quit iTunes
Open your System Preferences and click Security in the top row.
Click Firewall. The lock icon bottom left is/should be closed. Click this to open, you will have to authorise with your password. When the lock icon shows as open, click advanced. Block all incoming connections should be unchecked, Automatically allow signed software to receive incoming connections should be checked. If all this is OK then check the application list. Is iTunes in the list? Has it a green light allowing incoming connections? If not click the red light to change to green.
When finished click OK bottom right, click the lock on the Firewall to close and protect from changes.
