computer dilemma...advice please
1 Answers
about a month ago, my inbuilt wireless packed up...just stopped working and computer didnt even read it as an installed device anymore.. took it to a bloke to fix - he couldnt - an said it needed motherboard replacing - so it wasnt worth it as it...so i should just buy a dongle an use that - so i did...all was fine..
well today...for no reason that i can see...the wireless has begun working again!!
im amazed...it just came on....id tried to install all sorts of new drivers in order to fix it but none had worked...maybe i 'bumped' or something a la fonzie...haha
so the dilemma...i also yesterday tried to install deamon tools in order to access some software...however its messed my machine up and i had to cancel it and ive deleted it - but its not properly gone as i get an error message about kernals and debugging etc from daemon tool whenever i turn on...but i cant find anything to remove it in programs etc...so i want to do a system restore to get rid of it completely...
but i dont want to risk losing whatver has made the wireless work again...could it be the daemon tools?
when i turned ontoday it stared sayin it was installing device drivers even though nothing was atatched, so i assume it was for that...i may be wrong...
anyone got any ideas? is there any other way i can do this?
help!
(sorry this is long)
thanks
