Hello everyone, i have have an acer aspire 5920 laptop with vista on it, a few weeks ago my laptop when mad, and got the blue screen of death on it, it would go load up properly or nothin, or let me reinstall to factory using the built in software, so my mate lent me a a factory default disk for a toshiba laptop, but obviously that mean ive lost all my acer stuff, i was just wondering if there is any chance i can get it back to when i first got it ? thanx

Well you are not going to get all the acer "personalisation" easily, but you can go to acers website, enter the model number of the laptop and download all the drivers and software for free and that will get it fully working.

You may have to be patient.. Acers download site can be very slow and flaky in my experience

Also, make sure you install the Acer power management software, stupidly, it's that software that controls the fan, not the hardware!!! it will over heat if you don't install it.
