Star Signs and Compatibility

I just wondered who believes there is any truth in what star sign you are and how much effect that has on your compatibility with another person. I sometimes find myself believing horoscopes and other times think it's rubbish. This isn't a trick question, I'm just intrigued if I told you that I'm a Sagittarius and my boyfriend is a Leo, what would you think our relationship and compatibility would be like?

It's a load of rubbish.

I do believe star types can display certain personality traits...but that's as far as it goes. You either get on with someone, or you don't.

I do think that personality traits can and do match up with star signs - I am a Scorpio, and when I read the character of my sign in Linda Goodman's Sun Signs book, it was like a personality profile!

I don't know enough about other signs to comment milly - but if I can find my copy, I'll check you both out and come back to you.

I used to think it was crap but like andy, my personality traits certainly match my star sign. Others have also commented on this. Not sure about the compatibility question though!

I'm a Leo and my hubby is a Saggy which are supposed to be perfect matches and we happily rubbed along for almost 30yrs until he bu99ered off with someone whose sign is totally incompatible with his and she is giving him hell.So no don't take any notice of all that cr@p just enjoy every day as it comes.No-one knows what's round the corner and in truth would you really want to?

I also agree about the personality. I just believe that it makes a difference to a relationship.

I am a Libran and my husband Taurus. In a little pocket book of Taurus traits it had a bit on compatibility. for him and a Libran it said - Walk quickly the other way. 35 years later we are still together. I like to read books like the one already mentioned here on Sun signs. I also find the Chinese stars based on the year you are born are quite good. He is a rooster and I am a buffalo, and that is the best combination for each of these animals, so perhaps that is the reason that the western horoscope doesnt seem to matter.

Our compatability has nothing whatsoever to do with the stars, it's just coincidence if you are the same star sign, colour, religion, hair colour, age etc.. is it not?

Both myself and Mr Lore are Sagittarians.
I sometimes wonder when we clash over certain things if it's because we have the same star sign, then reality kicks in and I realise that I'm right and he's just being awkward! :p

Back to the question of compatability then, what sign are you? My other half is a Saggy elbow.
