Webcams

I’d like to buy a webcam but know nothing about them. Could someone recommend a good one please? It is for use on a laptop so nothing too big. Thank you.

Sorry, I can't help. Here in Greece I spend most of my time at my desk wearing only my underpants. Consequently the risks of accidental exposure on a support call with a client are such that I refuse to have a web cam.

I have a webcam built into my laptop, and I haven't a clue how to turn it on. Like rojash though I sometimes sit here after my shower with just my nightie or dressing gown on, so maybe it;s better that way.

LOL Gran suppose it automatically turns on when you fire up the computer, hope you don't go chatting where ever you could be seen. :-)

I don't know anything about them either. Now that you've mentioned your computer has a built-in camera - I just bought a new computer and I have no idea if a camera is built in in it either. It came a week ago and it's still sitting in the box.
