Windows Security center is telling me that ' Microsoft Security Essentials reports that it is turned off '

However MSE is not turned off - so why is it telling fibs ?

Toolbar language settings........

Reg Cure....Do I require it?

It is not telling you fibs it just needs to be updated. Microsoft Security Essentials is updated by Windows automatic updates. You have to have your automatic updates turned on so as they download when you are using your computer. You can do them manually by opening up the program and doing the update then you will have to do a scan to complete the process.
