although i have my router firewall set to on and i have "outpost" firewall set to default
why does "shields up" port security test show port 443 open,it says this is bad,so is this bad? if so how do i close it

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.port 443 is normally used for secure web pages ( HTTPS), you don't need it open on your incoming firewall unless you are running a web server.
Personally I would close that port on your router, you've not said what router you have but it sounds like you must have a rule set on it to open that port for incoming traffic.
(make a note of how you close the port because if you find something suddenly stops working you may have to open it again)
