For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.1. Download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware (mbam-setup.exe) and save it on your Desktop.
2. After downloading, double-click on the file to install the application.
3. Follow the prompts and install as “default” only
4. Before the installation completes, check on the following prompts:
- Update Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
- Launch Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
5. Click “Finish.” Program will run automatically and you will be prompt to update the program before doing a scan. Please update.
6. Scan your computer thoroughly.
7. When scanning is finished click on the “Show Results”
8. Make sure that all detected threats are marked, click on Remove Selected.
9. Restart your computer.

Mabel1. Download malwarebytes installation exe yourself, copy to external drive or burn to cd and install it from there onto your daughters machine. Hopefully the latest version will include updates to remove Think Point. If it does not remove it, boot your daughters machine into safe mode and try again.

1- Start up the PC and keep tapping F8
2- Choose to start in 'Safe Mode'
3- When PC starts up just accept the Thinkpoint safe startup
4- Press Ctrl,Alt Delete simultaniously.
5- Go to file tab, new task (run), Browse
6- Look in Local Disk Drive (possibly C: drive)
7- Go to documents and settings/all users/start menu/programs/accessories/system tools/system restore
8- Then simply choose what date you want to restore your computer back to
