NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller not working or missing?!?
6 Answers
Hey guys!
I've recently updated my "nVidia - Network - NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller" from Microsoft Windows Updates. >>> http://www.update.mic...default.aspx?ln=en-us
After I've restarted my PC (it required), I couldn't access the net. I've checked my "Local Area Connection 2" for any problems. When I've clicked "Network Connections", I've shocked myself: it disappeared.
Afterwards, I've checked the 'Device Manager'. In the 'Network Adapters' had an yellow exclamation mark. There was a problem. I've clicked "Properties" and the status said "Your device doesn't work properly. It's missing or it's corrputed [Code 39]" or something like that.
Luckly, I've 'rolled back' my device. I've restarted the PC again and now the net works. But still, that Hardware update is there. And what's odd, it says that this "update" was released in AUGUST.
What... the... heck??
Is it truly a problem or what?!
