Delete Attatchments on a E-Mail

I have sent a Mail twice with 4 photo attachments but they are not reaching their detination. I want to re-send the Mail but with 1 photo at a time but am unable to delete the existing attachments. Is this because it has already has been sent and so am going to have to do it the hard way and completely retype it as a fresh mail. Thanks for any help

If you go to your original e-mail and press forward can you delete the attachments then?

Just copy and paste the text into a new email.

Just to elaborate on craft... You can not edit email in the sent folder, you must the select the individual mail and press the forward button first.

Thanks for the replies and the problem is now solved. It just gous to show, we are not to old to learn.
