High Usage?

My screen keeps freezing in IE and I keep getting a Norton message saying 'High CPU usage by Internet Explorer'............any help please.

Start IE with no add-ons and see if that clears the problem, if it does than it's an add-on (causing it)

To start IE bare click start > programs > accessories > system tools > internet explorer (no add-ons)

If it does clear the problem then op IE normally and click on the tools menu > manage add-ons and then click on each add-on in turn and then click...

If it does clear the problem then op IE normally and click on the tools menu > manage add-ons and then click on each add-on in turn and then click disable, once you've disabled all the add-ons you can start re-enabling them one at a time and use the commuter for a little while to see if the problem returns, once you've found out which add-on caused the problem you can probably leave it dissabled.

(I'm gonna say it's probably the google toolbar if you have it)

Thanks Chuck will give it a go (I'm on Firefox at the mo).......it could coincide with revving the rabbit.

Touch wood that seems to have done it Chuck. It's running much faster and the only one I've had to unblock is Adobe.....
