screen won't scroll up or down?

hi,
for some reason my laptop has decided it doesn't want to scroll up or down. I have an acer travelmate 5320 on windows vista. Underneath the the touchpad is a small square button that used to scroll the screen up and down but it's stopped, if i press the space bar the screen zips down but thats it. Any ideas how i can getting it working again?

Sounds like you have pressed the ScrLk key on your keyboard.
