Outlook has Died :(

I can't get Outlook to open on my laptop anymore.

It either just doesn't open anything at all or comes up that it caused problems last time it opened and then asks if I want to open in safe mode which then crashes. It sometimes comes up with a launch detect and repair thing which I have run a few times but it hasn't made any difference.

I've tried rebooting the laptop etc... to no avail. Am trying to find my CD I have Microsoft Office on to try and deinstall and reinstall but not sure where it is and when I do find it I don't know if it will just let me do this for Outlook or whether it will try and install everything again

Has anyone got any idea how I can repair it? Help!

It sounds like the type of problem which can often be fixed by running System Restore (from Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools) to take your laptop's registry back to a point before the problem first occurred.

First try ...
Control Panel .. Add/Remove ..
Microsoft Office ..
Click on it and select Change. It will offer to modify, remove or repair. You need the repair. Be warned you may need the disc.

Apologies for the late response, it's still a bit touch and go but much better than it was.

I tried both your suggestions, thank you both for your help.
