Spell checker in Mozilla Thunderbird

Hi How do I get this help in my E Mail prog, without having unnecessary tool bars, is it a add on, from Mozilla, I have it in IE as part of Google Tool Bar very useful it is to.

If you use Outlook Express then you can always download the FREE Spell checker for OE from http://www.snapfiles....l_Checker_For_OE.html
I've used it for many years now. It puts a little abc (with a tick) on the toolbar so that you can use it with sites like this one.

But if you have MS Office installed, spellcheck is operational in OE anyway.

I notice the google bar spell check has altered too from ABC tick to A tick Check
