Deleting a file

Please help!

I have a malicious file on my computer called c:\windows\system32\gxzfzd.exe which my adware finder keeps warning me about but cannot remove. When I try to delete it manually, it tells me I cannot do so because the file is in use. When I stop it running, in Task Manager, it appears to re-start itself instantly.

How, then, can I delete it?

Click Start-->Run and type "msconfig" in the box. Then, under the Startup tab, look for gxzfzd.exe , uncheck its box, and restart the computer.

While it's booting, before the picture of the Windows logo appears, press F8. You should see a list of options, select "Start Windows in Safe mode". Then, go and find the file, delete it and reboot. Run whatever adware/antivirus software you're running and see if it works.
