I puchased a dvd recorder and now 25 dvd-rw 120 min dvds hoping to transsfer my videos onto them, as many per disk as possible even four movies per disk.
I did the first no hassle, but when wanted the second to follow I found the recorder always returned to the start point and had I dubbed the next movie it would have erased the first.
So how do I make sure this does not happen and I can record them one after the other?
Am using sp-mode - doubles dvd-s time.
On the recorder there is a "marker" option, which I have done, but when I change over to tv or vcr this gets earsed and dvd reverts back to the beginning.
so help please: what do I do wrong?
many thanks for anay replies, wish you all a happy Christmas and peaceful new year. regards, t.

Are you sure sp is the correct setting for your 2 movies? I always record films on lp. The quality is still ok. One other thing, after recording the first movie, are you finalising the disc? Only finalise when the 2nd one has recorded. Could be a setting somewhere that auto formats. Maybe post the model of recorder to help other ab's.

Dear TTG, you ARE right, sp is not the right one, now learnt it; lp is the one and this is what I use now. I also figured out not to finalise the disc till I finished. You were right about it - I just took longer to figure it out. Insruction booklets are useless - I find it easier if I can find it out for myself.
Sorry I have not been back with this sooner - was away.
Thank you for taking the trouble to reply, regards, t.
