Virtualdub problem.
Hi, is there any VirtualDub experts that can please help me? After opening the VirtualDub window I have dragged a video into the window in readiness to compress the avi file. But what's happening is the picture of the video is a blue tint instead of being all coloured. If I play the video on my PC it plays OK with all the colours. It has only just started doing this recently. Everything was OK a few weeks ago. I have uninstalled and re installed VirtualDub without any joy so would be pleased if someone could give me any ideas as to what could be causing this and how to remedy it.

If you just want to alter the size or other attributes of the AVI video (without editing) then put it through Format Factory and pick your own screen size, bit rate, etc.

Hi, Have had a look at Virtualdub and can only suggest that you check under Video/Filters and under Video/Colour depth.
In Colourdepth the top buttons are usually filled as default, ie. Auto select and (to the right) Same As.........
I never used the above things myself but they could have been changed/altered accidentally??
Just a thought!
