overlaying one picture on another
Have a snapshot of Grandson with our dog. I'd like to overlay a scanned print of the dog's paw on the picture. I guess the easist way is to print the pawprint on a transparent sheet? However as they're £20 a box and I'm unlikely to do that again is there another way around it?
Can you alter the picture you're overlaying with a clear / see through background [similar to a transfer]? or any other ways to solve this for me? Thanks

If you have a digital version, you could look into using watermarking, or simply find an image of a pawprint which does not have white surroundings (I mean that the image ends where the paw print does, rather than the image being square, similar to your avatar) then you could put that on top then print it all together. You could try scanning in the photo, but that way you are likely to lose picture quality and definition. Hopefully some experts will be along to provide better information!
