it's not a program as such but a built in part of windows, either do a CTRL + ALT + Delete and select task manager or right click on the task bar at the bottom of the screen and select task manager.
(stopping processes without knowing what they are can leave your system unstable)

Another Senior Moment yes it should have read Manager not Master. Have done as you said ChuckFickens and have accessed it but all gibberish to me so as you said I will leave well alone. I accessed the link you sent me ChuckFickens re Virtual Memory increase but it could not read what make or model my computer was but did suggest several ranges of Memory increase so now have to decide whether to buy or not to buy that is the question. Thanks for all your help has been appreciated.
I really wish more people I come across in my job (IT) had that attitude.
There are a few things you can safely use it for though.
For example...
If a program has stopped responding then you can force the program to be closed by using the applications tab, or if your computer seems very slow you can see what is using most of your computers resources by using the performance tab.
There are other things it's handy for and to be honest I can't really think of a lot you can do to cause any damage that a simple restart would cure.
